New River CTC Offers Additional Fall Course Options Through Rolling Start

Students have another opportunity to begin fall classes at New River Community and Technical College through Rolling Start Options, with courses beginning Monday, Sept. 28, 2026.

“Rolling Start Options” at New River CTC give students the flexibility to begin taking college classes outside of the traditional August and January semester start dates,” said Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Steve Lacek. “The course offerings allow students to complete the first semester of several programs, including Business, Criminal Justice, Education, Nail Art & Technology, and Social Services. Students can also complete prerequisite courses for the Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing programs.”

Several general education courses are also available fully online, via Zoom, or in a hybrid format. Nail Art & Technology courses will be offered at the Greenbrier Valley Campus in Lewisburg.

Registration for the fall 2026 Rolling Start Options is underway and will continue through Friday, Sept. 25.
