New River Community and Technical College (New River CTC) Library services are available to all NRCTC students, employees, and area residents.
We are part of the West Virginia Library Network (WVLN) consortium. Borrowing physical items requires a WVLN Library card.
If you don’t have a WVLN card, you may obtain one at the New River CTC Library or any WVLN library.
New River CTC students and employees that don’t have a WVLN card may contact the NRCTC library or visit their local public library to obtain a WVLN card which is honored at New River CTC, as we are all part of the same system!

All services below are available to New River CTC students, staff, and area residents/guests, with New River CTC students and staff receiving priority of resources. - Purdue University’s Online Writing Lab, Purdue OWL provides a wide selection of writing and research guides, including APA, MLA, Chicago, and other styles guides.
Need to borrow a book or article from another library? Complete the online Interlibrary Loan Request Form and we will borrow the book or article for you, then send it to your local New River campus so you can pick it up (or if the article is in digital format, it will be e-mailed to you).

We are open Monday through Friday, 8 am til 4 pm, excluding campus holidays and closures. Hours may vary due to staffing and campus events.
Disability Service entrance is available via the door on the north side of Greenbrier Hall (same entrance as Cosmetology services); take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
We offer services remotely to all New River CTC students and staff regardless of location.
If you are unable to visit in person, please contact us by email, by phone 304-647-6574, or book an appointment with library staff using Microsoft Bookings. We can also arrange to meet students and staff via Zoom; please contact the library to initiate.
