Our transcript request process is changing. Effective January 2, 2019, the New River CTC Business Office will no longer process the one-time fee for transcript requests or take payments for transcript orders.

New orders will be processed through the National Student Clearinghouse. Students who have previously paid a one-time fee will have the option to request a paper transcript through a form or to request them online. Please see the options below for more information.

The Self-Service Banner official transcript request option will be disabled on January 2, 2019. Students may still use Self-Service Banner to access their unofficial transcript.

Option 1: I would like to order from the National Student Clearinghouse for the fastest processing of my transcript request.

Option 2: I have already paid a one-time fee in the past and would like to complete a paper form instead.

Option 3: I would like a copy of my unofficial transcript.

Option 1: National Student Clearinghouse

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Visit the National Student Clearinghouse to order your official transcript. Please make sure to read the information on that page to prevent needing to re-order a transcript.

  • Allows attachments such as matching forms or other documents
  • Online delivery available, most electronic transcripts are delivered within 24 hours
  • If requesting a mailed copy, please allow an additional 7 business days for mail to arrive at its destination

If you previously paid a one-time fee, that fee does not apply to orders through this website. You may either order online for faster delivery and processing or use the option below to request your transcript.

Students requesting transcripts via the National Student Clearinghouse will be charged $5 for each electronic transcript and $7 for each transcript mailed or held at our office for pickup. Please contact the Registrar’s Office or wait for a call before attempting to retrieve a transcript ordered for pickup to ensure it is ready.

Option 2: Request using a printable form

New orders will be processed through the National Student Clearinghouse. Students who have previously paid a one-time fee will have the option to request a paper transcript with a form or to request them online.

Starting January 2, 2019, students may only use this form if they have paid the one-time fee previously. If you complete the form and are not a student who has previously paid the one-time fee, your request will be returned to you and you will be referred to the National Student Clearinghouse listed above.

Print the form and send it in to request an official transcript. Click here to download the form and print it out. Please note that this method of requesting transcripts is not as fast as using the National Student Clearinghouse option listed above and that all requests made using this form will be printed and mailed via the United States Postal Service.

Former students may still access their Self-Service Banner account, even if they have not attended for several years. If you cannot access your account please contact IT Support at 304-929-6725 or the Registrar’s Office and ask for a “Self-Service Banner PIN reset.”
