At New River Community and Technical College’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC), students can take academic courses or Workforce classes. Business and community leaders across the region serve as advisors to our administration, which ensures our programs are in-sync with their needs.
Located in Ghent, West Virginia, the 93,000 square foot facility is being used to train workers for high demand and high paying occupations. Degree programs being offered at the ATC include Automotive Service Technology, Electric Distribution Engineering Technology (line service), Industrial Technology and Welding. CDL, EMT-B and other training through Workforce Education is also offered at the ATC.
