New River CTC offers Commercial Driver’s License; Emergency Medical Technician training; and other training programs.  We work closely with the local Workforce Investment Boards to ensure our program offerings meet the needs of our service area.

Financial Aid
Financial funding is approved for some programs through Workforce WV WIOA, Workforce HEAPS and WV Vocational Rehab. Qualifying students can complete workforce training programs at no charge.

Machine Tool Technology I Lewisburg TBA Fall 2023, Tuesdays from 4- 8 pm, Assigns students specially designed projects that will incorporate materialselection layout, and machining using hand tools, the engine lathe, milling machine, drill press, saws, welding equipment and other shop equipment. August 2023
Machine Tool Technology II Lewisburg TBA Spring 2024, Thursdays from 4-8 pm, Develops additional machining skills for those students who have thebasic skills that were developed in Machine Tool Technology I. The student will work from more complex engineering drawings and use all of the shop equipment to produce parts thatwill assemble into a more complex assembly January 2024
