New River Community and Technical College Foundation announces 2017–2018 scholarship recipients

[BEAVER, W.Va.] The New River Community and Technical College Foundation has announced scholarship award winners who will receive more than $85,000 for the 2017–2018 academic year.

This year’s scholars will be honored at a reception at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the college’s Raleigh County Campus.

“The Foundation is pleased to recognize this year’s scholarship recipients who are seeking their degree or certificate in order to find jobs and pursue a meaningful career. Financial assistance is a major factor leading to the success of students at New River Community and Technical College,” said Interim Executive Director of New River CTC Foundation Michael Green.

Scholarship recipients are from New River CTC’s Greenbrier Valley Campus in Lewisburg, Mercer County Campus in Princeton, Nicholas County Campus in Summersville and Raleigh County Campus in Beaver/Beckley.
