New River CTC Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Hosted Induction Ceremony on April 26, 2024

[BEAVER, WV] New River Community and Technical College hosted its annual Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Induction Ceremony – a prestigious event recognizing students for their academic excellence and commitment to community service. The ceremony took place on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the Raleigh County Campus Rotunda.

The event honored students who have met specific qualifications and were accepted into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society, an internationally renowned organization dedicated to recognizing and promoting academic achievement among college students. The induction ceremony serves as a celebration of these students’ hard work and dedication throughout their academic journey.

New River CTC’s event welcomed inductees, their families, members of the Board of Governors, administration, faculty, and staff. It was a unique opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the achievements of these outstanding students. The ceremony consisted of a formal induction process, speeches from PTK members and college administrators, and a reception following the ceremony.
