[BEAVER, WV] – New River Community and Technical College is excited to announce its’ new and highly anticipated two-year Surgical Technology Program. Aspiring healthcare professionals are invited to an open house event on Friday November 10th to explore the exciting world of surgery, meet the instructor and members of the program, learn about the curriculum, and discover the career opportunities that can come from enrolling in New River CTC’s newest program.

At the Open House, attendees will be able to explore the new cutting-edge surgical technology facility equipped with the latest technology, as well as gain insights into the comprehensive two-year program designed to prepare students for successful careers in the field. Students who have been already admitted into the program will be present to share information about the application process, as well as their emotions about being the first to embark on this specific journey at New River CTC.
“Studying this has always been a dream of mine. I’ve been in the medical field for seventeen years, and I never realized that this would actually happen for me. It is something I am so excited to do, you have no idea how grateful I am for this opportunity.” Says Desiree White, one of the first students to be enrolled in the Surgical Technology program.
New River CTC’s Surgical Technology Program is a new opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a fulfilling career in healthcare. Whether right out of school or coming from years of work experience, this program is open to anyone interested in furthering their education.
Refreshments will be provided, and prospective students, parents, and anyone interested in a career in surgical technology are encouraged to attend this informative event.
