New River CTC hosting Greater Greenbrier Chamber Business After Hours on March 29

[LEWISBURG, W.Va.] New River Community and Technical College and the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 29 at the Kyle and Ann Fort Arts and Sciences Building on the Greenbrier Valley Campus.

The Business After Hours event will provide an excellent opportunity to network with local business leaders while learning more about New River CTC’s academic and workforce programs.

“We look forward to a fun and informative evening,” said Interim Executive Director of the New River CTC Foundation Michael Green. “Anyone interested in learning about all the College has to offer the community is welcome to attend. Students and parents will be able to find out about admissions procedures and degree programs. Local businesses interested in partnering with the college for training, continuing education and workforce development programs are also encouraged to attend.”

The following academic and workforce programs will have information tables at the event and provide demonstrations: welding, medical assisting, paramedic/EMS, cosmetology, massage therapy, and software development coding. New River CTC faculty, staff and admissions counselors will also be available to answer questions.

Entertainment will be provided by Joey Stepp, a comedian, magician and former member of the Marshall University football team. There also will be door prizes, food and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
