[BEAVER, WV] – New River Community and Technical College proudly hosted its Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Pinning Ceremony today on the Raleigh County campus, celebrating the accomplishments of the latest cohort of graduates. The ceremony marks a significant milestone for the students, recognizing their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the field of physical therapy.

During the event, each graduate received a pin, representing their readiness to enter the professional world as licensed Physical Therapist Assistants. President of New River CTC Dr. Copenhaver, faculty, staff, family members, and friends were in attendance to honor the graduates and support them as they prepare to embark on their careers.

“We are incredibly proud of our PTA graduates,” said Dr. Angela Strickland, Interim Dean, Transfer and Pre-Professional Programs at New River CTC. “Their perseverance and passion for helping others will make a positive impact in the healthcare community, and we look forward to seeing their future successes.”

The PTA program at New River CTC is known for its curriculum and hands-on clinical training, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their careers.
