New River CTC Celebrates 21st Practical Nursing Pinning Ceremony for Graduates

[BEAVER, WV] – New River Community and Technical College proudly celebrated the 21st Practical Nursing Pinning Ceremony, honoring the accomplishments of 37 dedicated graduates, including four Nicholas County High School students. The ceremony took place on July 19th at the Raleigh County Campus.

“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements,” said JoAnna Perry, MSN, RN, Practical Nursing Program Director at New River CTC. “This pinning ceremony was a testament to their dedication, resilience, and the high standards of excellence upheld by our nursing program. Our graduates are well-prepared to make a positive impact in the healthcare community, and we are confident they will continue to uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in their professional careers.”

The ceremony included faculty and staff members, all of whom played a crucial role in the educational journey of the graduates. As these students step into their careers, New River CTC is confident they will provide high-quality care and make significant contributions to the well-being of their patients.
