New River Community and Technical College Expands Esthetics Program to Mercer County Campus for Fall 2024


[PRINCETON, WV] – New River Community and Technical College is excited to announce the expansion of the Esthetics program for the Fall 2024 semester to the Mercer County Campus. In addition to the existing offerings at the Greenbrier Valley Campus (GVC), this expansion provides students in Mercer County and surrounding areas with an exceptional opportunity to pursue a career in the thriving field of esthetics.

New River CTC’s Mercer County Campus has relocated to 304 New Hope Road, Princeton, WV 24740. This relocation will offer access to newly renovated facilities, experienced faculty, and a range of student support services. In addition to Esthetics, New River CTC offers a range of programs such as Massage Therapy, Criminal Justice, Computer Science and more. 

The Esthetics program at New River Community and Technical College is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the beauty industry. The curriculum offers a blend of theoretical and practical training, covering key aspects such as skincare techniques, makeup application, hair removal, and various facial and body treatments.

Students will receive hands-on training in modern esthetic techniques, using state-of-the-art equipment and products. The program prepares students for immediate employment in salons, spas, and wellness centers, and provides a strong foundation for those looking to start their own businesses.
