New River Community and Technical College Cosmetology and Personal Services Programs Celebrate Pinning Ceremony

[LEWISBURG, WV] – New River Community and Technical College hosted its 2024 Personal Services Pinning Ceremony, marking a significant milestone for its graduating students from the following programs – Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, and ASSC Nail Care Technician. The ceremony took place on the Greenbrier Valley Campus, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and families to celebrate the achievements of the 2024 graduating class.

The pinning ceremony is a time-honored tradition, symbolizing the transition from student to professional. Each graduate received a pin, signifying their successful completion of the cosmetology curriculum and their readiness to enter the beauty and wellness industry.

President Dr. Bonny Copenhaver opened the event commending the students for their hard work, dedication, and resilience.
