New River Community and Technical College Announces Campus Relocation in Mercer County

[PRINCETON, WV] – New River Community and Technical College is thrilled to announce the relocation of their Mercer County campus. This initiative reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible education and fostering community engagement in the area. 

The new campus is located at:
304 New Hope Rd.
Princeton, WV 24740 

New River CTC has recently seen exponential growth in enrollment, and this relocation is designed to meet the needs of our diverse, growing student population by offering a range of academic programs and services. Like the college’s previous location, it will serve as a foundation for learning, career development, community events, and reinforcing New River CTC’s dedication to the success and well-being of its students in Mercer County. 

“We are excited about the opportunity to grow our footprint in Southern West Virginia, especially in Mercer County,” said New River CTC’s Chief of Staff and Vice President of External Affairs, Michael Green. “This campus will provide students with convenient access to quality education while also serving as a resource for the broader community. We remain committed to Mercer County and are excited to continue providing accessible and affordable education to the students there.” 

This relocation features a partnership with the Mercer County Board of Education and the Mercer County Technical Education Center as part of New River CTC’s strategic plan to increase educational opportunities across the region. The college aims to create a supportive environment for learning, collaboration, and career advancement. 

The Mercer County campus will offer access to newly renovated facilities, experienced faculty, and a range of student support services. Information regarding a ribbon cutting ceremony on the Mercer County campus will be released soon. Registration for Summer and Fall 2024 classes is now open.
