Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair is offered at the Advanced Technology Center ONLY

This certificate prepares students for employment as an entry level maintenance and light repair technician or to continue their education in the associate of applied science program. The program meets current NATEF (National Automotive Technician Education Foundation) 2012 accreditation standards. PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
  1. Accurately perform basic maintenance on both cars and light trucks.
  2. Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of common hand tools and equipment.

  4. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with typical shop safety procedures and rules.
