[BEAVER, W.Va.] New River Community and Technical College is offering first aid and CPR training classes at each of the college’s campus: in Beaver on July 11, Lewisburg on July 18, Princeton on July 25 and Summersville on August 1. The classes will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students who complete the class will receive an American Safety and Health Institute Certification Card that will be valid for two years. This class will also provide recertification for anyone needing recertified in these areas.
The cost for the class is $30, and pre-registration is required by July 9 for the class in Beaver, July 16 for the class in Lewisburg, July 23 for the class in Princeton and July 30 for the class in Summersville.
New River CTC’s Workforce Education Division provides community education classes and employable educational opportunities including noncredit courses, workforce development programs and customized training.
