Drawing class scheduled at New River CTC

[SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va.] New River Community and Technical College is offering Introduction to Drawing, a six-week class beginning March 27, in Summersville. The class will be held on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Instructor Renee Rader, a certified art teacher with 13 years of teaching experience, will guide the class for those at all ability levels. Each week will include both class projects/lessons and an artwork assignment as homework. The drawing class will begin with the simplest drawing techniques and advance in difficulty each week to build the artist’s skills. Students in the class will also have the opportunity to enter an art contest

The cost for the class is $75, and students are responsible for providing their own supplies. Pre-registration is required by March 22.

New River CTC’s Workforce Education Division provides community education classes and employable educational opportunities including noncredit courses, workforce development programs and customized training.
