Program Learning Outcomes
- Provide the skills and knowledge needed for entry-level positions in the field of healthcare, including Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Math, English, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Develop core knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology.
- Students will complete medical terminology and intro to anatomy and physiology with a “C” or higher.
- Develop proficiency with contemporary office software essential to entry-level medical office positions.
- Students will complete a COSC course with a “C” or higher.
To be eligible for admission into this program, students must meet the general requirements for admission to New River Community and Technical College.
