[LEWISBURG, W.Va.] Learn about canning food in a two-hour workshop at New River Community and Technical College’s campus in Lewisburg on Wednesday, August 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The workshop will cover the difference between pressure canning and water bath canning, how to preserve food by freezing and how to make homemade jellies. The cost for the class is $20, and preregistration is required by August 20, 2018.
New River CTC’s Workforce Education Division provides employable educational opportunities including noncredit courses, workforce development programs and customized training along with community education classes to help teach hobbies and skills.
