Overview of Programs

New River offers 17 Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree programs, 6 Associate of Science (A.S.) degree programs, two Associate of Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree, Collegiate Certificates, and Collegiate Skill Set Certificates.  A number of the associate degree programs and class credits transfer to four-year baccalaureate programs at other state-supported institutions. Courses are offered online and through an interactive video network to increase access for students across the large geographic area served by the College.

Student’s attending New River CTC summer session may submit their Summer Financial Aid Application now. Go to www.newriver.edu, quick links, financial aid, financial aid forms, and summer application. Please submit the application to your local New River CTC Office of Financial Aid on or before April 28, 2017.
