Beekeeping classes coming to Summersville through New River CTC

[SUMMERSVILLE, W.VA] New River Community and Technical College is offering Beginning Beekeeping, a five-week class, at the Nicholas County Campus starting on February 27.

The class will meet on Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., and the college will offer Advanced Beekeeping starting March 28.

Fred Williams, a local and experienced beekeeper, will cover topics including beekeeping equipment, bee biology, installation and seasonal management.

The cost is $75, and pre-registration is required by February 20.
