Learn Beekeeping in New River class

[SUMMERSVILLE, W.VA.] The New River Community and Technical College Office of Workforce Education in Summersville, W. Va., will be offering the extremely popular Beekeeping course again beginning Feb. 21.

Taught by Fred Williams, the 10-week course will teach everything that is necessary to begin an exciting and rewarding hobby as a beekeeper. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about beekeeping and the role of the productive honeybee.

Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6-8 p.m. through April 21. The course will include hands-on experience as well as a very exciting field trip. This course is for beginners of all ages.

Financial Aid Refund

The first day for distribution of financial aid refund checks is Thursday, Sept. 4.  Checks can be picked up in the Business Office on your campus. Students must attend all classes and be actively participating in online courses in order to be eligible to pick up a financial aid refund check.
