Don't get back from the NACCE Summit and have someone say 'Wow you were in WV? Did you visit ____?' We can fill in that blank with so many different off the beaten path attractions – historic towns, waterfalls, over looks and more.

Explore your way through Southern West Virginia using one, two, three or all of these itineraries.

They will lead you down winding roads, scenic trails, and up and over our mountains but each will lead you to something interesting, historic, beautiful or fun.

Southern West Virginia is hub of outdoor activities.

Since we live in the mountains, we know a lot about how to have fun outside. Our parks and forests are the perfect setting for some outdoor adventure and activity. From bikes to baseball, rafting to ropes courses, and literally everything in between that you can fit outside, we've got it.

Coming to Southern West Virginia in February is prime time for skiing, tubing, and other winter activities.  New River's Ghent Campus is located just 5 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort.
