Training and Other ServicesNew River Community and Technical College (New River), provides comprehensive, quality higher education and workforce training programs and services through its Beaver, Beckley, Bluefield, Lewisburg, and Summersville campuses. To accomplish this, the College works with a variety of partners including: WorkForce West Virginia; Region I WorkForce Investment Board; and technical education centers located throughout the college’s nine county service region. The College provides a wide variety of customized training, continuing education and other workforce training solutions to meet specific client needs through the Center for Workforce and Business Development. Programs have been provided to help retain more than 7,000 employees of more than 60 companies throughout the service region. Some of our clients have included:
