New River provides library services through (1) our library on the Lewisburg campus, (2) a partnership with the library at Bluefield State College in Bluefield, (3) and through partnerships with state libraries in Summersville and Beckley.  The information on this site pertains to our Lewisburg library services.

The New River Library at Lewisburg is open to all students, faculty, staff, and local community residents. All students may borrow library materials using their Mountain Library Network (MLN) cards. MLN cards are issued to currently registered students. After you register and pay fees, go to the library and request a card. There is no charge for the MLN cards. (we also make New River ID Cards).

To find a book, students can do author, title, subject, and keyword searches using the Library Catalog (MLN).

Mountain Library Network (MLN)

In addition to the Library Catalog, the following links include regional newspapers, electronic class reserves, government documents, and subject classified internet links (including African-American literature, science, computer science, criminal justice, education, history, legal, literature and humanities, and health care).
