A visiting student who is currently attending another college or university but wishes to take a course or more and transfer credit back to his/her home institution will need to submit the following information before being allowed to register for classes:
- A New River Application for Admission form each semester attending
- A transient course permission form signed by your home institution’s Registrar (this form will be provided by the home institution)
A transient student must complete a new application for admission to New River each semester they enroll and provide a Transient Permission form.
Transient students must complete an official transcript request form through New River CTC for their final grade(s) to be sent to their home institution after completing their coursework each semester. http://www.newriver.edu/current-students/student-services/transcript-requests
