Transient Student

A visiting student who is currently attending another college or university but wishes to take a course or more and transfer credit back to his/her home institution will need to submit the following information before being allowed to register for classes:

  • A New River Application for Admission form each semester attending
  • A transient (course permission) form signed by your home institution’s Registrar (this form will be provided by the home institution)

Transient students must complete an official transcript request form through New River for their final grade(s) to be sent to their home institution after completing their coursework each semester. A transient student must complete a new application for admission to New River each semester they enroll and provide a Transient Permission form.

Moving Celebration

In celebration of the new Mercer County Campus, the college will be having a moving celebration outside the new location at 1001 Mercer Street in downtown Princeton on Thursday, July 31 from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on that day.  There will be lemonade and cookies as well as staff available to answer questions about plans for the campus and to assist with registering for classes.
